Where can I scatter cremated remains/ashes?

It may be an offence to scatter cremated remains in water courses or on public land, without the consent of the appropriate water authority or land owner. If the cremated remains are to be interred or scattered in a grave, in a cemetery or churchyard, or in a Crematorium Garden of Remembrance, prior permission must be sought from the relevant authority, who will require the Certificate of Cremation prior to final disposal.

Peterborough Crematorium has a wide choice of memorials available to allow families to commemorate their loved one.
