How do I appeal a parking ticket?

Every person issued with a parking ticket has the right to appeal. On the reverse of the penalty charge notice there will be instructions clearly stating this process and states how to submit their relevant evidence supporting the appeal.

To appeal, representation must be in writing and use the form on the penalty charge notice.

Appeals can be sent to: Parking Services, PO Box 1077, Peterborough, PE1 9JR

Or sent by email to: parking.appeals@peterborough.gov.uk

Please quote the PCN number, vehicle registration and your address in all contact.

Representations which are made after the end of the 28 day period specified on the first page of the notice may be disregarded and representations falling outside the 28 day period will only be considered under exceptional circumstances.

After your representation has been removed, we will write to you with our decision within the period of 56 days beginning with the date on which we receive your representations.
